Creating an Import

To start a new import

  • Go to the Import Page (Import/exports>Imports).
  • Click on the 'New Import' tab.
  • Complete the required fields.
  • Press 'Start' to queue your import task. It will begin after current tasks are completed or at the scheduled time.
  • Track progress in the Import Log on the same page.

Fields explained

Type: Select from your pre-saved Feed Mappings in the dropdown menu, necessary for the import.

URL: Add URLs in this format:

  • Web address: https://demo.katanapim.com/uploaded/productfeed.csv‍
  • FTP address: ftp://[USERNAME]:[PASSWORD]@[HOST/FILEPATH]
    ‍    Example: ftp://katana_ftp:AaciCsavQ23W@katanapim.com/ftp/feed/productfeed.csv

File: You can also upload local files directly from your computer.
