Feed Mapping is an essential tool for linking product data from your files (feeds) to specific data fields in KatanaPIM.
The Feed Mapper's primary role is to enable you to create templates for importing products. This powerful feature allows you to bring in new products or update existing product information by connecting specific columns or nodes from your local feed files (like Excel or CSV) or from an FTP server to the corresponding fields in KatanaPIM.

Blue dots: The presence of blue dots next to an internal name indicates that there are unsaved edits in that row. These changes need to be saved for the mapping to be applied during the import process.
Fields marked with an asterisk (*) & in bold: These fields are required. The import process cannot be successfully completed unless these fields are mapped and contain data in the import file.
